GAG was originally formed in 2004 to oppose English Partnership’s plans to develop the “land north of Dry Street” known as Dry Street Pastures which runs between Dry Street and Lee Chapel South.

Daws Heath Action Group

The Daws Heath and Hadleigh Hands Off Our Greenbelt Campaign was started in 2008 when developers started to look to build new homes on our Greenbelt. We set up to protect the land North of Daws Heath Road and East of Rayleigh Road.

Dunton Garden Suburb - RAID

R.A.I.D (Residents Against Inappropriate Development) is a campaign started in response to the joint proposal by Basildon and Brentwood Councils to build 4000 to 6000 new homes on green belt land to the west side of Basildon.

Hullbridge Action Group

‘Over the coming months and years our local council are trying to build 450 to 500 new houses on the grassland surrounding our village and land opposite Lords golf club for a travellers site. We are opposed to this.’
